		<description>Well, you know, astrologically, the first day of spring was closer to Feb. 2, so it really IS spring. It&#039;s the midpoint between the winter solstice and the spring equinox.

I know, the Vatican and some crazy English king screwed up our seasonal perceptions and tried to make the first day of spring March 21, but does that make sense? Does December 21 make sense as the first day of winter? No- crazy anti-pagan sentiment that is.

December 21st is Midwinter, July 21st is midsummer. And February 2nd is the first day of spring. So those flowers you&#039;re seeing, those happy sun feelings your having, they&#039;re completely natural.
